Hello I am Amy, a 15-year-old student studying in Derbyshire. I love English and I am a confident speaker who hopes to pursue the career of a news presenter. In the May half term I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend three days at 3Fox International in London.

I really enjoyed myself and met new people who were all very friendly and coped with the many questions I asked!

Over the course of the three days, I completed a variety of different tasks, which reflected the different aspects of the business. On the first day with Katie in the events team, I had a look at different venues in London and their features and picked my top ten.

In accounting I did some database work with Jennifer. On the second day with the editorial team, I did some work on Walthamstow Leisure Centre and looked at press releases and editorial plans.

My favorite of all the tasks was creating the social media presentation, where I was able to show off my presentation skills and which I had a lot of fun with.

Working in a sophiscated and real life office environment really helped me and developed me as an individual. It helped my social skills as I was interacting and working with new people and learning about the daily life of a magazine production company.

Most of all, I gained a detailed insight into different aspects of the business and got a feel for the aspects I liked most.
