For the first time, Enfield Council is hosting an exhibition stand at the global property show, MIPIM, in march 2014. This is a clear statement by the London Borough of its intent to deliver Meridian Water, the £1.2 billion mixed-use scheme in North London, along with a series of housing (estate renewal and brownfield) and industrial oppotunities over the next five years.
Meet cabinet member and councillor Del Goddard and assistant director of regeneration Paul Walker on the Enfield stand, London Pavilion, organised by 3Fox International. "We're looking for meetings with potential developers of projects from housing to market gardens to industrial estate development," said Goddard.
"Enfield is open for business and, thanks to the efforts of our partners 3Fox International in obtaining sponsorship for this delegation, we will be able to show the world what Enfield has to offer big business without the tax payer having to foot the bill.
"We are already home to huge multi-national companies such as Sony and Coca Cola, which know we are business friendly and do things the right way and we are determined to attract more corporations and companies to our borough to create jobs, wealth and opportunities for our residents."
