Harrow @ MIPIM 2016
Date: 14-18 March 2016
Location: Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France
Harrow Council is embarking on an ambitious programme of investment projects to transform the borough between now and 2026, revitalizing its town centres, boosting business and involving the local community in building a better Harrow.
£1.75 billion investment will build 5500+ new homes, delivering 2000+ on council-owned land, including affordable and build to rent homes.
Harrow is an award winning entrepreneurial borough, an Opportunity Area and Housing Zone just 14 minutes from Central London, with enough green belt to fit eight Hyde Parks.
Over £1 billion of private sector investment is in the pipeline — we’re at MIPIM to explore strong collaborations with investors, high-quality developers and contractors.
Our three key opportunities for this year’s MIPIM are Station Road Quarter, Greenhill Way and Harrow Council’s vision to transform the current leisure centre site into a new leisure centre.
Harrow Council will be a strategic and active partner, striking a balance between leading direct delivery and partnerships through joint ventures and development agreements including acting as master developer.
