Telecommunications leader Orange plans to relocate its UK headquarters to The Porter Building in Slough, according to reports by Property Week.
The property news website reported on 21 June that the company is close to signing for 2,508sq m of space at Landid Property and Brockton Capital’s joint venture (JV) scheme at a price believed to be over of £36/sq ft, a record high for the Thames Valley town, and on a par with those achieved in neighbouring Reading. It is currently based at Bath Road in the town.
If successful, Orange will join serviced office provider Spaces and US financial services firm Fiserv at the building. Following the deal, The Porter Building will be 75% let, with one more floor of 2,508sq m vacant.
Knight Frank represented Landid/Brockton. All parties have so far declined to comment.
