Plans to stimulate growth across the Thames Estuary were showcased today.
Opened by BBC home editor Mark Easton, the second annual Thames Estuary Growth Day conference, showcases ideas by councils, developers and investors in Kent, Essex and east London to make the region a southern powerhouse bt working together across borders.
Held at CentrED at the ExCel Centre in London's Docklands, the day-long event attracted over 200 delegates.
Broadcaster Easton said: "Today is all about responding to the economic and social challenges grasping the growth opportunities that the Estuary region presents."
