Housing association Catalyst has been nominated for awards for two London property schemes.
It has been shortlisted for the 2020 First Time Buyer Readers awards for its schemes in Portobello Square in Kensington and Burnt Oak in north-west London.
In Portobello Square the firm is regenerating the Wornington Green Estate to delivery around 1,000 new homes, as well as more than 3,000sq m of commercial space and 9,000sq m of public space.
Shortlisted for the Best Urban Regeneration prize, Catalyst is re-providing social rented housing for all current residents of the estate, as well as developing homes for sale and shared ownership.
The second scheme is Neon, an affordable new-build development in Burnt Oak which has been shortlisted in the Best First-Time Buyer Apartment category.
This development has delivered 76 one, two and three-bedroom apartments with 46 available through shared ownership and the remaining homes all for affordable rent.
